YTNSW Pittwater Getaway
Why not spend the end of the week out of the city, around fellow passionate industry professionals? We’re doing something different over the weekend of 28-29 March 2025, by exploring a part of Sydney so many of us have never been to. Just 40 minutes from Manly is the ferry to beautiful Pittwater Eco YHA. Nestled in nature with hiking and water sport options, this really is a gem.
When? 28-29 March 2025
Where? Pittwater Eco YHA, Morning Bay
What’s included?
- 1 night’s accommodation (shared rooms) on Friday 28 March
- 1 BBQ dinner
- 1 breakfast
- Kayak/SUP hire
Cost: $109 (members only).
You just have to get yourself to the YHA via Church Point ferry, and the rest will be looked after. Ferries run regularly – you can either meet as a group at Church Point at 12.30pm on 28 March or make your own way there – last ferry leaves Church Point at 7pm. You’ll need to pay the ferry fare yourself separately ($12 one-way, $20 return). * Note – we are currently looking into transport options from the city (TBC) – otherwise please get yourself to Church Point as outlined above. Check in at the YHA is from 1pm on Friday 28 March and check out is at 11am on Saturday 29 March.
There are just 26 spots available. Book here!
Networking event wrap-up
Cheers to over 50 representatives of our membership base who got together recently for our Year of the Snake sumptuous Chinese banquet at Taphouse Sydney (who are loyal sponsors of YTNSW). A great time was had by all, with many new connections made, and existing ones revitalised. Thanks also to our generous raffle sponsors – some lucky lunchers won awesome experiences including campervan rental courtesy of Spaceships Rentals; a private room stay at the new Magnetic Island Summer House, and a big night out at Ivy Thursdays (courtesy of iRock Entertainment) along with many other great prizes. Check out the picture gallery here.
