Member News

Welcome to our newest member, ProSource – empowering businesses with a remote team of outsourced virtual assistant professionals (based in both Australia and the Philippines), helping to reclaim precious work time and drive profitability.

Meanwhile, in big news, Applejack – a member and proud venue sponsor of YTNSW – has officially taken over the two iconic Sydney venues of Opera Bar and House Canteen. Following a highly competitive tender process, Sydney Opera House announced a 10-year agreement with Applejack to run these popular harbourside dining destinations. Find out more here

Finally, another member, iRock Entertainment, is offering YTNSW members a free listing opportunity on their new platform, Snatch – a social app that helps visitors and locals discover events, experiences, and activities happening around Sydney. Venues and tourism operators can post their offers in one place, so people can easily find things to do, meet others, and explore the city. The platform launched during university O Week and already has over 5,000 active members, reaching the Top 10 charts on the App Store during launch week. Importantly, it doesn’t sit inside the booking process – if users want to attend an event or redeem an offer, they’re simply directed to whichever external platform you already use (such as your own website, Eventbrite, Moshtix, etc). If you’d like to take part, just email felix@irockentertainment.com.

Thanks to all our members for your ongoing support of the youth tourism industry in New South Wales & the ACT. We’d also like to give a special thanks to Allsopp Bunting Insurance for their ongoing support of YTNSW and the industry.
