AGM & Annual Report

Congratulations to the new Youth Tourism NSW (YTNSW) Committee elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27 November 2025 (pictured, left to right): Felix Bray (Treasurer), Carine Anceaux, Deon Carstairs, Andy Cowan (outgoing President), Andy Teuma, Anna Menting (Vice President), Peter ‘Sconzey’ Killick, Eleonora Kisser (Secretary), Josh Mayer, James Oliver (President), and outgoing Committee member, Andy Collins (not pictured – new Committee member Evie de Groot).

Huge thanks to the outgoing Committee members, Andy Collins, Karen Larsen, Justin Steele, and our organisation’s long-standing leader Andy Cowan (President) who served seven years on the Committee including the past three as President (and before that Vice President) – take a bow!

BYTAP update

Congratulations to Kristy Malapa of Untamed Escapes for being appointed to the Backpacker & Tourism Advisory Panel (BYTAP), that YTNSW is proud to support and have representation on. Kristy joins industry stalwarts Peta Zietsch (Chairperson and representative from Adventure Queensland), Silke Kerwick (Secretary and YTNSW representative), Wendi Aylward, Mark Baldwin, Alex Hill (representative from Youth Tourism Victoria), Brendan McKenna, Adam Ogle and David ‘Thommo’ Thomson. Thanks go to retiring Panel member, YTNSW’s President Andy Cowan, too, for volunteering over several years for the greater good of our sector. Member spotlight
